Represa presents Terescope® 10GE of MRV, first wireless connection of the market that offers connectivity 10 Ethernet Gigabit. This device establishes a new datum point concerning speeds of wireless transmission, providing a system of last mile in zones where a fiber infrastructure does not exist or is impossible to unfold it and, in addition, are needed the benefits that the united optical fiber offers to a considerable saving in costs.

The TereScope® 10GE is able to cover, to even meet, all these challenges that, more and more, are essential that they are fulfilled. This last device developed by MRV follows the legacy that has allowed to the manufacturer to be leader of the market in FSO (Free Space Optic) thanks to its patented innovating optical technology. Like its predecessors of smaller speed, the TereScope® 10GE allows connectivity Ethernet and Fiber Chanel, but at a 10 speed of Gbps. The close beam of light emitted by the optical head of the TereScope® 10GE provides the same security that a twisted traditional fiber connection, since the signal is impossible to intercept, and has a reach of up to 850 meters in normal conditions. The TereScope® 10GE can be connected to any connection of point-to-point RF to secure redundancy in the connection and to offer an availability of a 99.999%, in the case of a temporary loss of line of sight. This system received the prize “Best of Interop 2008” in the Wireless category and Mobility in the event celebrated in Fertile valleys, where every year the best technological products in each category are clear.
