The mini-connectorsThis innovative series is available with bayonet, threaded, and breakaway couplings for maximum functionality and flexibility. The Trinity MKJ series offers electrical and mechanical performance similar to large, heavy-duty standard military connectors but is up to 71% lighter and 52% smaller.

The Trinity MKJ series connectors utilize a 23-pin size and contacts that can connect 22 to 28 AWG wire, reducing contact space while providing electrical performance equivalent to a 22-pin size. The split-contact-tooth design offers proven reliability in harsh environments, and the interfaces are sealed with a fluorosilicone interfacial pin seal. Rear environmental sealing is achieved with a wire-sealing washer. The Trinity MKJ series is available with a 3.85-inch crimp-on receptacle version with rear release or with PCB contact receptacles (square flange or nut).

Trinity MKJ connectors can withstand vibrations up to 20 Gs and shocks up to 300 Gs, in accordance with MIL-STD-1344. Their operating temperature range is -55°C to +150°C. All Trinity MKJ series connectors are available with corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy or steel housings

The Trinity MKJ1 features a durable design for shock and vibration environments with dual starting threads to prevent thread damage and allow for complete mating in 1.5 turns. The bayonet-type version, MKJ3, has a quarter-turn locking mechanism for ease and speed. The push/pull variant, designated MJK4, offers quick breakaway mating and disconnection using an angled spring-loaded retention mechanism. It is also available with ITT Pogo Pin technology. For everyday applications where space and weight are important considerations, the MKJO connector with a threaded (UN Thread) coupling provides a flexible solution. Trinity MKJ connectors can be mated up to 2,000 times.
