The ARMBLOC series of cabinets features a rectangular shape and fixed external dimensions (1165x1850x508 mm). They are designed to offer a choice of single or double doors for the front and back of the cabinet, or any combination thereof. More innovatively, they are available with 19” equipment supports, expanding the range of equipment that can be installed.In their simplest configuration, they have slotted vertical profiles installed inside, which serve to fix the mounting plates and/or brackets where electrical equipment (transformers, circuit breakers, relays, etc.), distribution and switching elements, etc., are attached.
Upon request, they can be supplied with a central divider plate, so that the cabinet is internally divided into two equal parts. These enclosures can be fitted with various accessories such as fixed supports and/or removable racks for 19” equipment, mounting plates, etc., or a combination of these or other elements, according to the needs of the equipment to be installed, thus maximizing the use of the cabinet's internal space.
The base of the cabinet can optionally be closed with a plate, which has several cable entry/exit holes.
Both the cabinet body and the doors and drip edge are manufactured using an RTM injection molding process with MI fire-retardant polyester resin sandwich panels reinforced with fiberglass and a polyurethane core. This system, combined with the airtight seal of the doors, provides the most suitable method for preventing moisture ingress.
All metal components of the cabinet (internal frame, hinges, handles, etc.) as well as the optional accessories (19” equipment supports, mounting plates, etc.) are made of AISI-316 stainless steel. The door locking system is a lever with a latch. It features two or three anchor points (depending on the door type) and a space for a security padlock.
The doors are hermetically sealed with neoprene gaskets around their entire perimeter. It includes rods to secure the doors, keeping them fixed in place while working inside the cabinet.
The cabinet is anchored to the floor according to the standard dimensions of concrete foundations used by railway operators (RENFE, EUSKOTREN, FEVE, etc.). The threaded studs of the foundation are inserted into the metal slots on the underside. For transport and lifting, the ARMBLOC has steel rings on the roof.
