Fibercom announces an extraordinary 2013 call for its Specialized Course in Fiber Optics
Fibercom is pleased to announce an extraordinary session of its Specialized Fiber Optic Course on December 16, 17, and 18 due to the high demand for the course originally scheduled for November. These sessions will be held at Fibercom's headquarters in Zaragoza.
The GAIA Cluster participated in the European project "Engineers of the Future," co-financed by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program. This project focused on designing advanced training for the engineers of the future through collaboration between academia and industry. Over the two years of the project, specialized training programs were designed and tested in the fields of renewable energy, cybersecurity, and advanced automation. These programs combine a mix of skills and competencies (both technical and non-technical) essential for the engineers of the future and address some of the needs and challenges facing industry in these areas.
Fiber optics is a transmission medium for high-speed communications over short and long distances. More and more users are choosing this medium for their communication links because it offers greater bandwidth, ease of installation, and performance measurement. The TIA has developed standards for commercial buildings and data centers that ensure installed cabling will support current and future applications.
dBm Ingenieros has prepared a course to get started in fiber optic link certification. This course presents the basic concepts that must be considered when certifying a fiber:
