Fujikura announces the launch of the CT60, its latest fiber optic cleaver designed to offer greater precision, ease of use, and performance in demanding environments. This machine represents an evolutionary leap in operability and cutting quality for professionals working in fiber optic network installation and maintenance.

Fujikura Europe has introduced its new automatic fiber optic stripper, the Fujikura SS110, and upgraded its special application cleavers with the introduction of the CT110 and CT111. Designed with versatility and ease of use in mind, the SS110 is applicable to a wide range of optical fiber sizes (including 125 μm cladding and 900 μm cladding) thanks to an optional additional blade that provides users with flexibility for various applications.

Fujikura Europe has launched the CT11x series of fiber optic cleavers with key upgrades to improve cutting quality and ease of use for engineers and researchers.

The new range of specialized cleavers includes the CT114, CT115, and CT116. All three models allow for the precise cutting of large-diameter optical fibers, which are commonly used in applications such as laser systems, medical devices, and sensors.

Sumitomo Electric presents the new FC-6+ series of table saws, which will be launched globally in the fourth quarter of 2021. Introduced in 2001, Sumitomo Electric has continued to develop the FC-6 design over the past 20 years.

The FC-6+ brings a number of new features to the range. Sumitomo states that the FC-6+ adds "one-action" operation to the traditional robustness and high-quality cutting of the FC-6, improving user productivity. This maximizes work efficiency: once the fiber is cut, the carriage and clippings collector automatically return to their original positions. Manually readjusting the blade and clippings collector before each cut is no longer necessary.

Fujikura introduces a new range of specialty snips, the CT-105+. The CT-105+ series incorporates a new clamping function that improves cutting angles by automatically detecting the optimal clamping force. In addition to a 75 percent reduction in clamping force, there is a 90 percent reduction in fiber consumption compared to the CT-105.

The COFITE Group presents the INNO Instrument V11 fully automatic fiber optic cleaver, an intelligent model that guarantees precise cutting in a single step thanks to its advanced design with automatic blade rotation, height adjustment, and a digital counter. The blade rotates automatically after each cut through thirty positions, while the counter displays the number of cuts in real time.

Fujikura Europe will launch the new CT50 fiber optic cleaver, which will be available starting this summer. The CT50 offers improved resistance to drops and impacts and allows customers to replace the cutting blade and resin parts that hold the optical fibers, reducing handling time and maintenance costs.
