Options for 4 and 6 sockets are available with a fixed point for 32mm flexible conduit. The range has been developed to fit the end of flexible conduit, where the grid-style sockets would normally be located, with the cable management system installed in a raised floor system. The GOP box has the necessary flexibility to be positioned within the radius of the flexible conduit and adapt to the office space. 25mm and 32mm L-brackets are available to secure the other end of the flexible conduit to the floor tile. The GOP boxes are then typically fixed to the underside of the desk, with the flexible conduit passing through the tile via a cable gland.
These Plus versions have been improved with screw-in cable tie anchors next to the conduit attachment point for nylon or Velcro cable ties. This allows the cable to be secured if necessary. Additionally, the GOP box has a screw hole at each end of the top box for threaded screws, enabling the attachment of adapter plates or custom brackets. Black rubber blanking caps are supplied with the GOP boxes for unused 6c holes. The 2-socket box includes one cap, the 4-socket box includes two caps, and the 6-socket box includes four caps. The blanking caps are also sold separately.
To facilitate cable installation, the conduit mounting hole has been slotted. Because the conduit hole is part of the metal construction of the connector assembly, it simplifies socket termination while maintaining cable management. The base has two mounting holes. The two parts of the box are joined with a single screw.
GOP boxes and L-brackets are sold in sets of 10 to reduce packaging waste. Conduit is sold separately.
