Equipment with FiberChek automated inspection and analysis software for fiber optic connectors
The COFITEL Group supplies a wide range of equipment with Viavi's FiberChek automated inspection and analysis software to provide the required combination of hardware and software and thus ensure correct implementation of the IEC 61300-3-35 Standard.
Automating the process with the incorporation of analysis software provides systematic proactive inspection and, therefore, a feasible way to achieve highly connected networks.
Viavi's solutions have a positive impact on product quality throughout the supply chain, resulting in greater customer satisfaction and supplier protection (reliable documentation of connector terminations); competitive advantages for component and system suppliers, contractors, and installers; a common and repeatable system; and ease of analyzing customized requirements.
These benefits not only ensure compliance with the IEC Standard, but also contribute to making the promise of next-generation networks a reality.
Matt Brown, Director of Product Management at VIAVI, has prepared a report outlining the need for this control, which complements the usual power (Tier 1) or reflectometric (Tier 2) measurements.
The COFITEL Group will take advantage of its participation in MATELEC 2016 (stand 4E38) to showcase these VIAVI analyzers and the latest developments in its supply and service program for communications network cabling.
