The two new extenders transmit Full HD 1080p and 3D video content over long distances, with a range of up to 600 meters (VE882) or 20 kilometers (VE892).
As point-to-point solutions, the new VE882 and VE892 take advantage of single-mode technology and require only one fiber optic cable to connect the transmitter and receiver units, enabling quick and easy installation and 
long-distance HDMI signal transmission. Both units are rack-mountable, hot-swappable, and extend HDMI, RS-232, and IR signals.
Each product utilizes a unique FPGA design, providing clock regeneration to ensure exceptional high-resolution video performance. Designed for reliability and long-distance transmission, the VE882 and VE892 use fiber optic technology to eliminate signal loss between the transmitter and receiver units and are immune to electromagnetic interference.
