The DFS1 is a portable electronic imaging device used to inspect the end face of fiber optic connectors for damage or contaminants. It connects to an M-series OTDR (M200, M700) or a C-series OTDR or certification module (C840, C850) via a USB port. The DFS1 draws power from the attached device and transmits video images to the attached device for later viewing and archiving.
Fibercom also introduces the new Noyes M200 handheld OTDR, offering unprecedented capabilities in a portable package weighing less than 1 kg. The M200 is a measurement device for multimode and single-mode fibers. It is rugged, portable, and lightweight. Combining ease of use (Touch and Test™), it is ideal for fiber network testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of enterprise networks, LANs/WANs, metropolitan area networks, and service providers.
The M200 comes with TRMTM (Test Results Manager) software certification for the presentation of comprehensive reports in accordance with TIA/ISO standards.
