Revolutionary interface: Displays a graphical wiring map, length, cable identification, and distance to faults on the screen.
Multimedia compatibility: Allows testing of RJ11, RJ45, and coaxial cable without adapters.
IntelliTone tone generation: Locates virtually any cable with IntelliTone digital tone generation.
VDV service detection: Verifies services such as 10/100/1000 Ethernet, POTS, and PoE.
Rugged housing: The integrated rubber sleeve improves grip and extends service life, even in the harshest working environments.
Extra-large display: Thanks to the large, backlit LCD screen, results are clearly readable in bright sunlight or dark cabinets.
Streamline cable verification: The
MicroScanner2 Cable Verifier combines the results from four different testing modes and displays them all at once: graphical wiring map, pair lengths, distance to faults, cable identification, and devices at the far end of the cable. Secondly, the integrated RJ11, RJ45, and coaxial cable ports support virtually any type of low-voltage wiring test without the need for additional adapters. As a result, testing time and errors are reduced. High-quality installations are now more efficient than ever.
Quickly rule out connectivity issues.
Today, technicians face many problems beyond just wiring. They must rule out numerous wiring and connectivity issues before they can pinpoint the cause of a connection problem. Is there power on the phone line? What is the polarity? Is there an Ethernet switch at the far end? Is there PoE? MicroScanner2 recognizes this, giving technicians greater visibility to check the most common voice, data, and video applications. This makes troubleshooting faster and more thorough.
