Patch cables are designed so that, in communication between two active devices, the RX port communicates with the TX port and vice versa without needing to change polarity. However, this becomes complicated when communication occurs through multiple splitters, intermediate boxes, different sections of fiber optic cable, etc.

If polarity reversal is necessary, it's crucial that it can be done quickly and safely to avoid damaging the cables or the connector ferrule.
Keynet's Twist-On system solves this problem, as it only requires twisting the connector's uniboot housing for UPC polished connectors, and rotating the connectors in addition to the UPC polished ones. This is all done extremely quickly (in just a few seconds) and safely.

The cover is a 2mm diameter LSZH round cover to reduce cable density (TF-LDUR family). KeyLight technology (TF-LDUR-KL) is also available to make port traceability much simpler and faster.

Keynet offers demo kits of these products.
