Covering all the requirements for a Fiber-to-the-X (FTTX) network, from distribution to customer connection, the CommScope range of enclosures offers the advantage of tool-less access and features gel-sealing technology. The range includes closures that accommodate microduct connections, fiber splices, fiber splits, and pre-wired, hardened connectors.
The portfolio includes the popular FIST ™ EDSA (fiber optic splice torpedo), FIST ™ MSC (modular splice torpedo), FLAT FIST ™ , MDCC (microduct cable torpedo), MJC copper torpedo, OFDC (fiber optic splice/patch torpedo), TENIO ™ , CTU (fiber optic torpedo termination units), and several existing and future product developments from CommScope. The FIST ™ range and TENIO ™ torpedoes utilize CommScope's patented Interface System Management splice trays.
CommScope connectivity products will initially be marketed by Emtelle in the UK, with the possibility of expanding sales to Europe in the future. In the meantime, Emtelle has the capability to sell CommScope products in Europe through distributors.
