The acquisition will combine AlienVault's threat intelligence expertise with AT&T's cybersecurity solutions portfolio, which includes threat detection and prevention, as well as response technologies and services. Upon completion of the acquisition, AT&T's enterprise customers will gain access to AlienVault's security management platform, which helps organizations become more effective in detecting and responding to threats by providing access to a comprehensive set of enterprise-level security capabilities.
The transaction is expected to close during the third quarter of 2018. Completion of this transaction is subject to customary closing conditions. Until the transaction closes, each company will continue to operate independently.
