Founded in 2013, Air-Lynx designs compact, professional LTE-based radio network devices. Air-Lynx is revolutionizing tactical LTE solutions with a product range focused on rapid deployment, ease of use, and high resilience.

“This acquisition perfectly complements Atos’s capabilities in tactical PMR and LTE solutions, which include Hoox’s line of mission-critical LTE touch devices, PMR integration and maintenance services, and recording products,” commented Cyril Dujardin, Senior VP of Atos’s Mission-Critical Systems, Big Data & Security Division.
“The acquisition of Siemens CVC last January brought us strong skills and solutions for PMR-based tactical communications. Now, with the revolutionary Air-Lynx technology, Atos can offer end-to-end tactical LTE solutions that are secure and resilient, but also fast and easy to deploy.”

Air-Lynx's agile and ultra-compact solutions can be deployed in minutes and interoperate with existing professional networks, adding capabilities and extending signal coverage. Air-Lynx targets the defense and mission-critical markets, as well as secure cities and Industry 4.0 applications, such as IoT networks. Furthermore, its ease of deployment enables the delivery of 4G LTE coverage in remote areas.

Air-Lynx won a Milipol Innovation Award in November 2017 with its Manpack ALM 17000, the first portable and lightweight 4G LTE radio network that addresses communication challenges in tactical operations (military network, security forces, public safety, and first aid). In less than two minutes, users have a high-speed data connection and a voice and video access button.
