The agreement includes industrial routers, modems, gateways, and switches, as well as the RMS (Remote Management System), designed to centrally monitor and manage connected devices. This new agreement represents a geographical expansion of the existing cooperation between Avnet Silica and Teltonika Networks. After five years of collaboration in several European countries, both companies have decided to extend their joint operations to the entire EMEA region. The initiative includes new investments in customer-focused activities and inventory availability, with the aim of strengthening the supply of industrial connectivity equipment.

For Avnet Silica, the addition of a wider range of Teltonika devices complements its offering of wireless technologies and communication solutions. For its part, Teltonika Networks will be able to leverage Avnet Silica's distribution structure and technical resources to reach new customers and industrial projects.

Industrial routers, gateways and modems with Wi-Fi, LTE and 5G

One of the main objectives of this collaboration is to facilitate the connection of industrial equipment to communication networks and internet services. The growth of IIoT applications is increasing the demand for devices that enable the integration of machinery, sensors, and control systems into connected infrastructures. Teltonika Networks' product range includes ready-to-install devices that support various communication technologies, including Wi-Fi, LTE, and 5G. These devices allow for the addition of connectivity to industrial facilities using commercial solutions that eliminate the need to develop communication hardware from scratch.

The products included in the agreement are:

Industrial routers: equipment to provide network access and connect industrial devices.

IoT Gateways: devices that facilitate communication between connected equipment and systems.

Industrial modems: solutions for incorporating cellular connectivity into different applications.

Network switches: equipment designed to interconnect devices within industrial infrastructures.

Teltonika RMS facilitates remote management of connected devices

The agreement also includes the distribution of the Teltonika RMS (Remote Management System). This platform allows for the centralized monitoring and management of connectivity devices deployed in different locations. Remote management is especially relevant in IIoT applications where equipment is geographically distributed or installed in hard-to-reach locations. Through a centralized platform, technical managers can access tools to manage the communications infrastructure without relying solely on on-site intervention. The combination of industrial hardware and remote management offers a solution designed to simplify the operation of networks with multiple connected devices.

eUICC solutions, antennas and secure cloud connectivity

In addition to distributing Teltonika Networks equipment, Avnet Silica will provide technical support services and complementary technologies to facilitate its integration into industrial projects. These technologies include eUICC solutions, cellular connectivity, antennas, and tools for establishing secure connections with cloud services. eUICC technology allows for the management of mobile operator profiles on compatible devices, a crucial capability for certain cellular connectivity applications. The joint offering aims to cover different stages of connected system development, from component selection and design to equipment deployment. This will enable customers to combine ready-to-use industrial network devices with connectivity solutions tailored to the specific requirements of each project.

A joint offer for IoT system manufacturers and integrators

Walter Puhl, wireless technology specialist for EMEA at Avnet Silica, noted that demand for ready-to-install industrial internet access solutions has increased during the five years of collaboration with Teltonika Networks. According to Puhl, expanding the partnership allows Avnet Silica to add certified routers and gateways to its product catalog, complementing its existing wireless offering.

Dominykas Soliunas, Global Head of Key Accounts at Teltonika Networks, highlighted the complementary nature of both companies' capabilities. While Avnet Silica contributes expertise in developing customized solutions and integration technologies, Teltonika Networks provides industrial communication equipment ready for deployment.

Greater availability of industrial connectivity solutions in EMEA

With the expansion of the agreement, Avnet Silica and Teltonika Networks strengthen their collaboration to supply communication equipment and technologies for industrial IoT applications.

The distribution of routers, gateways, modems, and switches will be complemented by the RMS remote management system and technical services from Avnet Silica.

The goal is to make it easier for equipment manufacturers, developers, and integrators to access connectivity solutions that can be incorporated into their projects without having to design the entire communications infrastructure.

Extending the agreement to Europe, the Middle East, and Africa will allow both companies to address a broader market and respond to the growing demand for wireless connectivity and remote management in industrial environments.
