Under this agreement, Winncom will focus on three major markets. The first is cloud-managed WiFi for businesses and hotels, with solutions like the cnPilot™ E400, which offers indoor 802.11ac connectivity, and the cnPilot™ E500, which provides outdoor 802.11ac coverage.
The second focus will be on WISPs (Wireless Internet Service Providers), to whom it will offer Cambium Networks' fixed wireless access solutions that allow establishing wireless connections in very large areas, with solutions such as PMP 450, which has the exclusive massive multi-user (MU-MIMO) technology cnMedusa™, and ePMP™ 2000 which, together with Cambium Networks' Elevate technology, gives new life to legacy networks based on 802.11n, allowing higher capacity and the construction of denser networks.
The third major focus will be Industry, where it will offer both licensed narrowband radio solutions for SCADA and broadband point-to-point and point-to-multipoint solutions for CCTV and remote access implementations. Highlights in this area include the cnReach solution, which enables licensed narrowband wireless connections, and the PTP 650, designed to establish point-to-point Ethernet links under demanding conditions.
