With this agreement, Cambium Networks positions itself in a market niche focused on WISP operators and businesses that demand high-performance connectivity solutions at a competitive cost. In this context: "Landatel is a leader in the distribution of wireless broadband solutions. The wholesaler has the structure and market focus we are looking for. Its integration into Cambium Networks allows it to expand its range of solutions to meet the current and future needs of its customers, as well as grow together in increasingly professional environments," comments Carlos Gonzalez, Sales Director for the Mediterranean region at Cambium Networks.
ePMP is a broadband wireless access solution that enables the cost-effective construction and expansion of point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-point (PMP) or point-to-point (PTMP) networks with a rapid return on investment. Its architecture supports VoIP, video, and data transfer services for end users across multiple vertical markets, delivering superior performance, security, and quality of service (QoS). Operating on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies, ePMP can flexibly handle up to 120 subscribers per device with consistent performance, thanks in part to its GPS synchronization capabilities and high spectral efficiency.
According to Javier Atero, Engineering Director at Landatel: “With ePMP, Cambium has successfully adapted the superior technology of Motorola's Canopy equipment (the previous owner) to the prices demanded by today's market, offering a highly cost-effective and robust solution that provides high-capacity services in environments where broadband networks are unavailable, or in rural areas where service quality remains poor. All this comes with the guarantee of a well-established manufacturer in the industry.”
