The agreement strengthens the collaboration between both companies, which in recent years have jointly developed and implemented WiFi networks in different parts of Spain using products such as Cambium Networks Access Points with the cnPilot E410 and E600 models for indoor projects and the cnPilot E500 family for outdoor projects.
High-quality Wi-Fi access in hotels has become a basic and usually free service, as indicated on booking websites, with 100% coverage of all hotel areas: lobby, lounges, restaurant, guest rooms, and outdoor spaces. This widespread availability is accompanied by greater bandwidth; "a standard double room provides, on average, Wi-Fi access for two mobile devices, two tablets, and a personal computer," according to Javier Muñoz, Manager of Spanred Telecommunications.
