T-ZIR is an innovation center focused on the retail sector, based in Zaragoza with an international reach. It was founded with the aim of anticipating, creating, and providing digital solutions for the consumers of the future within an entrepreneurial ecosystem, and with the support of each of its strategic partners: Iberebro, Intel, Microsoft, Telefónica, HMY, and now, Cisco.
Cisco's involvement is key. It represents the addition of one of the world's leading technology companies, dedicated to helping businesses and government agencies build next-generation smart grids and integrate and manage ICT solutions to capitalize on future digital opportunities. Within the ecosystem, Cisco will be able to make a significant contribution to improving the solutions developed at the technology innovation center.

Cisco is already actively working with TZIR startups, mentoring them and providing them with equipment and software. It has also collaborated with TZIR on various projects, such as the sensor installation at the Aragón Fashion Week venue, and the management of big data and real-time heat maps during this fashion week, organized by the Government of Aragón. Cisco's Meraki tool was used for this project.

After two years in operation, T-ZIR is immersed in its second acceleration program, following the success of the first edition, in which the Aragonese startup DeuSens emerged victorious. A pioneer in Europe as the first retail vertical, T-ZIR brings together startups and businesses from Aragon, developing significant innovation projects in collaboration with strategic partners and startups within the Telefónica Open Future ecosystem.
