Union employs around 30 people and has an annual turnover of £10 million. Its offering specializes in IT infrastructure and managed services, including design, hosting, infrastructure transition and migration, with a strong emphasis on high-performance data management and security for large enterprises. Union supports both on-premises managed solutions and solutions managed in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. Its founders will remain part of the team to grow Claranet's hosting services in the coming years.

Regarding this new acquisition, Michel Robert, Managing Director of Claranet UK, highlighted its significant contribution: “Union possesses deep knowledge and capabilities in the design and implementation of mission-critical infrastructure, particularly in data storage and security. They have developed strong, long-standing relationships with clients in vertical sectors such as legal, financial services, and retail, and we will continue to strengthen our capabilities within these sectors.” Claranet has also found in Union an acquisition that perfectly aligns with the company's objectives, explains Robert: “Their passion for excellence and desire for growth perfectly match our current focus on rapid expansion, so we are excited to incorporate Union's capabilities into our own.”.

Jason Rabbetts, founder and CEO of Union Solutions, also highlighted the benefits of the acquisition, which “brings an incredibly powerful hybrid transformation proposition to customers and the market as a whole.” Having a broad portfolio of specializations, Rabbetts explained, is essential in today's rapidly changing hybrid multicloud world, and he predicts that the merger will be “highly relevant and exciting.”.
