This alliance builds upon a long-standing partnership between Toshiba and Ingram Micro Germany for the distribution of hard disk drives. The new agreement will see Ingram Micro Europe distribute Toshiba's full range of storage solutions: from the award-winning HG series of client SSDs and the second-generation MQ01ABFxxxH SSHDs, to advanced enterprise-class hard drives and eSSDs.

"We are excited to be working with Ingram Micro Europe, one of the leading distributors in Europe. This will help us meet the current market demand for Toshiba's innovative storage products," said Otto Hinteregger, Managing Director of Sales Distribution at TEE.

Ingram Micro Europe was founded in 1989 and currently operates in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Furthermore, thanks to the recent acquisition of Brightpoint, a mobile and telecommunications company, in 2012, Ingram Micro Europe has further expanded its geographic presence in Europe. It also serves vendors in most other countries in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region through its export offices.

"Toshiba Electronics Europe (TEE) is a strategic partner of Ingram Micro Europe in key segments of our distribution line business, such as Components and Systems. Thanks to this new agreement, Ingram Micro Europe can better support Toshiba's growth opportunities by offering the European enterprise market best-in-class products, support, and services," said Ernesto Schmutter, Executive Director of International Business at Ingram Micro Europe.
