NTT Com is currently the only global service provider offering fully managed private cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure Stack, either on-premises or hosted in one of the company's 140 data centers. This proof-of-concept platform further strengthens this unique offering.
This platform, which will be used to test applications on Azure Stack, will run on a single-node server in one of NTT Com's data centers. The low cost of this proof of concept includes specialized Azure Stack engineering services for loading and testing the application, rental time on the test server, and a detailed report with the objectives and results achieved. The cost of the PoC will be refunded if the client chooses a managed Azure Stack solution from NTT Com.

Azure Stack is designed to deliver many of the features of the Azure cloud platform within the enterprise data center, providing hybrid cloud customers with the flexibility and innovation needed to meet the business objectives of companies adopting a data transformation strategy. Azure Stack is now available on Dell dedicated servers, although it is highly recommended to test application compatibility before migrating to Azure Stack.
"We are pleased to collaborate with NTT Communications to deliver a powerful application testing platform centered on Azure Stack. This platform will enable customers to efficiently migrate existing applications as they define their long-term hybrid cloud strategy," said Jay Snyder, senior vice president of global alliances at Dell EMC.
The Dell EMC hardware platform provides a consistent and automated Azure experience on a single hybrid cloud platform for both traditional and cloud-native applications, which, combined with NTT Com's managed services, gives customers a real choice when they need a partner for this new product in the market.

“We are delighted to join forces with Dell EMC to provide our customers with an application testing platform on Azure to facilitate the deployment of Azure Stack,” said Roger Vilà, senior vice president of enterprise services at NTT Europe. “Azure Stack is the backbone of Microsoft’s new cloud strategy. By using this platform, organizations can ensure they leverage the full potential of the Microsoft cloud and unify the different systems that may be running in their business effectively from the outset.”
NTT Com has been a key member of the Microsoft Early Adopter initiative for Azure Stack for the past eight months and provides managed services globally through NTT Com Managed Services, deploying hybrid cloud managed services. NTT Com has numerous large customers on the managed Azure platform and is fully prepared for the launch of Microsoft Azure Stack.
