The company is at the forefront of IoT development and is currently collaborating with Sigfox on projects such as asset tracking applications—based on Sigfox's geolocation solutions or in combination with Wi-Fi or GPS—and predictive maintenance solutions.
The alliance between Sigfox and Alps Electric Europe offers both companies the opportunity to work with leading technology partners who can contribute innovative, cutting-edge technology to manufacture IoT devices that will serve the industrial IoT market. Alps has already begun production of devices using Sigfox technology at its factory in Ireland.
