This agreement, signed by Agustín Sánchez, president of Silicon Alley Madrid, and Avelino Brito, CEO of AENOR, offers numerous advantages for both parties. Silicon Alley Madrid members will have access to AENOR's catalog of products and services under preferential terms. Furthermore, AENOR will provide Silicon Alley Madrid members with ongoing, up-to-date information on industry standards and certifications.
This agreement was signed during the first conference recently held between the two organizations. At the conference, AENOR highlighted the importance of technical standards and certifications for businesses and various sectors of economic activity.
“Collaboration with external entities is one of the main objectives we have in Silicon Alley Madrid’s roadmap. AENOR is a very important player for the companies we represent, and it was necessary for us to work hand in hand with them to find synergies that benefit us both,” explains Agustín Sánchez, president of the Association.
According to Avelino Brito, CEO of AENOR, “in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) there are numerous examples of technical standards and certificates that respond to the needs of organizations; for example, the Information Security Management System according to the UNE-ISO/IEC 27001 Standard or the Quality Management System in Information Technology (IT) Services according to UNE-ISO/IEC 20000-1.”.
