Recently, the companies launched a joint project to help a major international manufacturer enable anomaly detection in its products through artificial intelligence machine learning applications and high-performance computing. Using Hitachi Vantara and SQream storage systems for rapid analysis, the manufacturer was able to continuously ingest and analyze a petabyte-scale database composed of sensor events from manufacturing machines, collected in thousands of tables. This led to a significant improvement in overall equipment efficiency.
