Based in Poland, QuWireless has built its reputation on its antenna housing products, which deliver reliable performance in outdoor installations under real-world and harsh environments. The company develops integrated, all-in-one products that house routers directly within the antenna housing. These designs simplify the antenna and router installation process for outdoor applications, with antenna housings available for all major brands of industrial routers. The installer simply fits and secures the router into the antenna housing, leaving only one component to mount. By reducing the required RF cabling, the installation can also improve signal strength and reliability in environments such as industrial facilities, telecommunications network infrastructure, smart grids, transportation systems, building rooftops, remote locations, and areas with limited network coverage.

Leveraging Taoglas' established capabilities in RF and antenna design, engineering, and global testing and certification, the addition of QuWireless's expertise in antennas and enclosures will enable faster development cycles and more predictable performance in the field. The combined portfolio further expands the range of compatible devices, frequency bands, and form factors, giving customers greater flexibility in designing and deploying wireless systems.

The acquisition comes at a time of growing demand for reliable wireless connectivity in outdoor, industrial and remote environments, driven by the expansion of 5G, private networks and IoT deployments.

“QuWireless gives us a really strong advantage in how customers deploy connectivity in the field,” said Dermot O’Shea, CEO of Taoglas. “Much of the challenge today is not just RF performance, but getting reliable and robust connectivity quickly, with controlled installation costs, especially outdoors. Their antenna housings eliminate much of that complexity and significantly reduce installation time. Combine that with our engineering capabilities and global reach, and we can help customers achieve faster deployments and more consistent performance where it really matters.”.

“Our goal has always been to help customers achieve stronger, more reliable connectivity, especially in areas with limited coverage,” said Michal Gorzad, CEO of QuWireless. “Joining Taoglas allows us to bring these designs to a much broader market and integrate them with a wider range of RF technologies. It’s a natural fit, and it means we can deliver even better performance and flexibility to customers as their connectivity needs grow.”.

As part of the agreement, QuWireless will operate as QuWireless, a Taoglas company, and its product portfolio will initially continue under the QuWireless brand. The team will remain in Poland, serving as a center of excellence for antenna housing design, while collaborating closely with Taoglas' global engineering teams to support customers worldwide.
