Both companies will focus on electronic toll collection solutions, road traffic management, and smart and telematic urban parking, where Xerox has expertise in software and operations, primarily in America and Europe, while MHI contributes its experience in hardware and maintenance, mainly in Japan and Asia.
“MHI’s goal is to expand beyond Japan and Asia,” said Hiroyuki Toda, general manager of the Strategic Business Unit for ITS and deputy director of the Central Office of ICT Solutions at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. “We firmly believe that working with Xerox on certain projects will help us offer a better solution in the ITS industry.”.
