The accelerator program, which launched on March 2, 2016, is accepting applications from startups worldwide with a focus on IoT innovation for consumer and industrial applications, such as wearables, connected home, Industrial IoT, and smart retail.
Ten startups will be selected to participate in an intensive three-month program starting in September 2016, where each will receive €15,000, guidance and support from mentors, partners and investors, including element14. The program will take place in a new prototyping lab, spanning over 6,500 square meters, at Cocoon Networks, London.
As a corporate partner, element14 will play an integral role in supporting startups in taking their initial concepts through to a finished product, in an aggressive three-month development process.
As a leader in the global electronics market, element14 can provide a range of products and support services to IoT and hardware startups, along with extensive technical expertise and an established global market channel.
At the end of the three-month acceleration period, the program's startups will present their project to more than 250 investors and mentors at a Demo Day, which will take place on December 7, 2016.
