The group's companies become part of Sonepar Spain, SAU, with NIF A-96933510, completing the process initiated after the acquisition of Grup Carol.
In addition, Grup Carol's six branches in the province of Barcelona already serve their customers under the Sonepar Industry Solutions brand.
The integration will allow Sonepar to optimize its internal processes and expand its capacity to serve industrial customers, while maintaining the technical expertise and commercial proximity that have characterized Grup Carol.
Founded in 1976, Grup Carol has a five-decade track record in the B2B distribution of industrial products and services, automation, and communications. Its business is geared towards industries, engineering firms, machinery manufacturers, maintenance companies, and industrial installers.
According to Bárbara García Florén, president of Sonepar Ibérica, the integration responds to a shared business vision and will allow the experience of Grup Carol's professionals to be leveraged to boost the growth of Sonepar Industry Solutions.
For his part, Josep del Valle, CEO of Grup Carol, points out that this new stage combines the company's closeness and specialization with Sonepar's resources and operational capacity.
