The Regional Government of Extremadura has awarded SICE the contract for the fiber optic interconnection project for the Las Capellanías Industrial Park, which will serve the 450 companies in the area.
This project involves providing each business in the park with two direct fiber optic connections. To achieve this, a fiber optic cable network will be laid from the Regional Government of Extremadura's Scientific and Technological Network node to the connectors at each company. The
project will require 11,500 meters of conduit and the installation of over 40 kilometers of cable.
