The new ISO 50001 certification defines the requirements for developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving energy management systems. It is designed to help organizations continuously improve energy management in commercial and industrial buildings, optimizing energy use and reducing operational costs. The ISO standard was launched on June 15th, the same day Schneider Electric achieved certification.
