“We’ve helped customers stop the full spectrum of modern attackers’ campaigns, from ransomware to supply chain and nation-state attacks like SolarWinds,” said Hitesh Sheth, President and CEO of Vectra AI. “SaaS applications have become a haven for cyberattacks, and cloud identity is the entry point. Thanks to the combined expertise of the Vectra and Siriux teams, we can now offer best-in-class protection to customers facing these threats.”

Vectra is known for its AI-powered threat detection and response across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures, including public cloud, SaaS, network, and identity. Siriux extends Vectra's coverage to an even earlier stage of the threat lifecycle, providing an analytical layer to assess complex identity and SaaS configurations and close the gaps that allow attackers access.

Siriux's approach is based on four key principles: privilege management, attack surface reduction, service security, and transitive trust management. Siriux analyzes the configuration of applications like Microsoft Azure AD and Microsoft 365 against these principles to deliver prioritized, actionable recommendations for reducing the risk of a successful attack.

“Our solution ensures that organizations have done everything possible to identify common attack paths across SaaS platforms and minimize the attack surface of their cloud identity and SaaS applications by following our recommendations,” said Aaron Turner, Founder and CEO of Siriux Security Technologies. “By joining forces with Vectra, we are now able to enhance our solution with a proven, AI-powered capability to detect and respond to rapidly evolving attack methods that can still bypass even the best security posture.”

The acquisition reinforces Vectra’s commitment to addressing the security challenges customers face as they accelerate the adoption of hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures heavily reliant on cloud identity and SaaS applications.

The financial terms of the agreement with Siriux Security Technologies were not disclosed. As part of the transaction, Siriux Security Technologies will operate under the Vectra brand and leadership.
