It will take place on the last day of the 2016 trade fair and will examine the impacts of AV/IT convergence on our traditional understanding of installed networks and the demand for greater technical and operational expertise for professionals working in these sectors.
 
Stefani Renner and Dieter Michel will lead the AV/IT seminar on behalf of ISE. Stefani Renner is a sound and video engineer with 25 years of experience as a journalist and technical consultant. Dieter Michel is a physicist and the editor of a leading trade publication in the industry. In addition to his 25 years of experience as a technology journalist, Michel also runs a measurement lab, conducting studies on displays, projectors, and media technology.
 
The AV/IT seminar will offer a blend of presentations, tutorials, and case studies from leading business consultants and education experts. The program will show IT professionals how modern communication systems work and demonstrate to planners and integrators how IT staff in large enterprises manage their AV departments and networks. Sessions will combine the technical aspects of specifying and building a network with the business considerations of securing an adequate budget.
