The seminar analyzes the development of FTTH deployments over the past six months and will focus on the various drivers and blocking factors for fiber deployment in European markets. Other topics covered include the stakeholders involved, the technologies used, and the different stages of FTTH/B expansion in Europe.
The presentation will also include the latest update of the European FTTH Ranking, which reflects the state of fiber adoption in Europe.

Roland Montagne joined IDATE in 1998. He is Director of the Telecommunications Business Unit. Since 2004, Roland has led the panorama project for the FTTH Council Europe (and now also for APAC, LATAM, and MENA). Roland is a regular speaker at international FTTH events. He previously worked for Bell Labs and France Telecom.
