These new products facilitate the connection of multiple units and allow for easy connection of the PDU to a UPS. For this reason, they are ideal for data center environments, as most network switches and server environments use an IEC320 C14 (10A) or C20 (16A) power connector.
Simon Robinson, Product Manager at Excel, comments: “We stock and sell hundreds of PDUs every month and already have an extensive range of PDUs with a wide variety of connectivity options. With the addition of these new models, our range now meets most power needs.”
Simon concludes: “In addition to the standard PDU range, Excel also offers a modular range with different design options and flexibility to meet customer power requirements through interchangeable modules, as well as our range of smart PDUs, which allows customers to choose between monitored or managed PDUs to meet their power requirements.”
