In direct response to this evolution, MicroTCA Cube is now available, the first solution for industrial environments based on the MicroTCA.0R1.0 specification. Thanks to the compact dimensions of the enclosures (307 x 118 x 285/319 mm), installation space is saved, a particularly important requirement for machine controls and automation technology. The enclosure is made of stainless steel and is robust enough for use in industrial environments.
The mounting is highly flexible: it can be mounted on a support rail, directly onto the distribution cabinet's mounting plate, or even directly onto the machine itself. For this purpose, adapter plates with integrated keyholes or brackets for direct mounting onto support rails can be used; these are available as accessories. Both can be mounted on the back or side of the enclosure.


A total of 7 connection points are available (6 x AMC, 1 x MCH). A plug-in fan unit with 2 axial fans ensures reliable heat dissipation. The case comes fully assembled, backlit, wired, and tested, and is supplied as standard with a 250W AC/DC power supply.
