The new SDX Wall-Mount Fiber Optic Enclosure line simplifies the selection, installation, and maintenance of fiber optic boxes in telecommunications rooms, network hubs, remote network extensions, and end-of-row patching systems.
These enclosures can accommodate a wide variety of Leviton SDX and HDX adapter plates, cassettes, trays, and splice modules.
With four sizes available to house between 24 and 288 LC fibers, this family is designed to be the ideal solution for a wide range of applications.

“We developed the SDX Wall-Mount Enclosures to support a wide range of indoor environments, including remote network hubs that demand a large number of fibers, service providers that need enhanced security options, and zero-RU data centers that require on-site splicing,” says Tony Yuen, product manager for Leviton Network Solutions.
“With space constraints in mind, we offer various mounting options for ‘non-traditional’ network areas, such as under a desk or inside a cubicle. This provides greater flexibility for IT managers and network designers,” Yuen adds.

The enclosures feature lockable doors and dual-door access to separate user and service areas.
The new models make it easier for professionals to strip cables and patch cords and protect the jackets from damage and pinching.
They are available in wall-mount and DIN rail mounting options, as well as compact, zero-RU units.
These enclosures can accommodate Leviton SDX and HDX interconnect platforms.
They include both splice trays and standalone splice modules.

The SDX Wall-Mount Enclosures line consists of the following models:
• Mini Enclosure: houses one SDX component and up to 24 LC fibers.
• Small Enclosure: houses two SDX components and up to 48 LC fibers.
• Medium Enclosure: houses four SDX components and up to 96 LC fibers.
• Large Enclosure: has twelve SDX components and up to 288 LC fibers.
