The various coaxial connectors available allow for the installation of standard RG-59 and RG-179 cables, commonly used for video signals, and enable the transmission of signals from SMPTE 292M HD-SDI 1.5 GHz to SMPTE 424M HD 1080p/60 3.0 GHz. Tools for crimping the connectors onto the coaxial cables are also available.
Harting also supplies the guide pins (male and female) that ensure excellent routing of the connection between the hood and the base. The Han Easy-Lock® locking mechanisms incorporated into the Han® B housings provide easy, robust, and reliable opening and closing of the connector thanks to the springs integrated into this innovative system. Furthermore, the flexibility offered by the Han-Modular connector family allows for the integration of video, audio, and data (Ethernet) signals into a single connector. A wide range of cable glands and various sizes, orientations, and numbers of outlets allow for the adaptation of different conduits and tubing within the same IP65-rated housing.
