The cost-effective MX150 system features all male and female connections in a single package with pre-assembled cable shields and interfaces. Soldered terminal and pin electrical interfaces offer module design flexibility and reduce associated costs by eliminating the need to purchase, handle, and crimp individual wire assemblies. Integrated Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) and optional Connector Position Assurance (CPA) components allow for easy terminal insertion and ensure secure positioning to prevent accidental disconnections under high vibration and shock conditions. Unused circuitry is protected by airtight plastic seals. Furthermore, the easy removal and insertion of terminals makes on-site repairs quick and inexpensive.
Molex MX150 integral, bidirectional, matte interfacial head seals meet IEC IP67 and SAE USCAR-2, Rev. 4 standards and are certified for use in demanding environments such as motors, high vibration, under the hood and chassis, according to class 3 (operating temperatures between -40ºC and 125ºC).
