The Mizu-P25 connectors are available in low and high voltage versions with voltages up to 125V and 250V, respectively.
“Designed in Japan, they bear the name 'mizu,' the Japanese word for water, and the letter 'P' signifies that they are protected against the ingress of water and dust,” explains Yumi Fukui, product manager for the global market at Molex. She continues, “The IP67 standard guarantees optimal protection of the mating and signal integrity, making the Mizu-P25 connector an ideal solution that meets the demanding performance requirements of motorcycles, vending machines, air conditioners, and any other application where increasingly more electronics are crammed into ever-smaller spaces.”

Mizu-P25 connectors incorporate color-coded encapsulation, easy-insertion terminals, and other design features to simplify operator assembly. The raised male terminal design provides polarization to prevent connection errors. A watertight seal and positive locking mechanisms ensure a secure and firm connection. The low-insertion locking mechanism provides excellent sealing characteristics. The spring design delivers high pressure and low deflection in high-vibration environments.

“The Mizu-P25 system saves space and helps Molex customers with a wide range of industry-appropriate cable-to-cable connection solutions to fit through smaller spaces, holes, and hinges. Both the low-voltage and high-voltage versions feature one of the smallest mating diameters on the current connection system market,” Fukui adds.
