All parts are pre-assembled and require only one mounting screw. The new connectors are highly flexible thanks to the spring-loaded locking terminal and interchangeable strain relief for cable diameters between 6 mm and 9 mm (8 mm before assembly, 7 mm after encapsulation). ERbic CANbus connectors offer a switchable termination resistor that can be activated externally and an optional diagnostic interface. An added stamped metal shield connection provides optimal shielding contact. The bus connectors are printable using a standard nameplate.
Only a standard screwdriver is required for assembly and disassembly, and the red color of the actuating lever provides excellent visibility of the switch status. A large area is available for custom labeling, and neutral versions and variants with the company logo can be supplied.
The new CANbus connectors are designed for data transmission speeds of up to 1 Mbit/s in CANbus-compliant applications. In-house production guarantees ERNI's proven quality throughout the entire process chain, including design, construction, assembly, soldering, and inspection.
These CANbus connectors have an IP20 protection rating and are specified for operation in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +70°C.
