Using a single pair of copper wires, SPE connectors use 75% less cable than standard Ethernet connectors. These connectors support transmission speeds up to 10 Gbit/s (up to 1 Gbit/s panel pass-through), a voltage rating of 60 V, and a current rating of 1.5 or 2 A. SPE connectors with IP65/IP67 protection ratings are completely dustproof and water-jet resistant and can be temporarily submerged in water up to one meter deep.
