Thanks to their conductive surfaces and seals, the metal housings are EMC ready and offer reliable protection against electromagnetic interference. The die-cast aluminum construction and high protection rating provide excellent corrosion resistance.
Suitable contact supports are also available. These contact supports are offered with crimp or push-in connections for signal and power transmission. The new protective conductor concept with a PE connection extending forward and outside the contact support ensures greater safety. Furthermore, the Heavycon compact inserts can now be coded, thus enabling the safe operation of installations with multiple similar connectors.
