M12 Quick-Release Spring Connector.
The new generation of M12 spring connectors from Phoenix Contact offers greater flexibility and ease of handling during cable assembly. The spring connection allows for secure wiring of rigid or flexible cables with or without ferrules. Four- and five-pole versions are available for voltages up to 250 V or 60 V, in straight or angled configurations (Figure 1). The connection cavity is sized for conductors with cross-sections from 0.14 mm² to 0.50 mm² .
In the angled variant, the new housing design facilitates the routing of rigid cables with a maximum outer diameter. The double mechanical anti-vibration lock protects the M12 connection area from accidental disconnection. The second anti-vibration lock also operates between the connector housing and the connection block. This prevents the housing from separating from the connection block during assembly or in the event of vibrations.
Variants with metal housings comply with EMC standards. The 360° shielded connection is achieved via an iris spring. This combination provides exceptional protection of transmitted signals against interference from external electromagnetic fields.
All variants feature integrated Speedcon quick-release fasteners. The "Plug & Turn" system also reduces connection time for spring-loaded connectors by 90%.

Industrial connector with anti-pull connection.
The DD series contact supports for Phoenix Contact's Heavycon series industrial connectors are now even more reliable: The contact supports utilize pull-lug technology for the PE connection (Figure 2). The tensile forces that the cable can withstand in a pull-lug connection are considerably greater than those of the commonly used screw-lug PE connectors.
Crimp contacts are available with silver or gold surfaces and contacts for 980/100µm fiber optic conductors. The contact supports are configured for 250 V/10 A for conductor cross-sections of 0.14–2.5 mm² . They are available in 24, 42, 72, and 108 pole counts.

Terminal Adapter with New Anti-Tension PE Connection.
The new Heavycon D series screw-type terminal adapters from Phoenix Contact feature a PE connection based on tension terminal technology (Figure 3). This technology withstands higher tensile forces than conventional screw terminal connections.
The terminal adapters combine contact holders for industrial connectors and DIN rail terminals into a compact connection element. The contact holder thus incorporates DIN rail terminal adapters. Each connection pole can be marked on the terminal adapter with various characters.
Heavycon terminal adapters are available in 40- and 64-pole versions and in models for the right and left walls of the distribution cabinet.

Eight-pin M12 right-angle connector for printed circuit board mounting.
Phoenix Contact's already extensive range of M12 plug-in connectors has been expanded with new right-angle contacts for printed circuit board mounting (Figure 4). The product range includes 4-, 5-, and 8-pin male and female connectors. For fieldbus specifications
, variants with shielded contacts are available. These contacts are inserted directly into the printed circuit board. The flexible shielding material ensures a secure and durable contact with the enclosure wall. The mounting procedure is very simple and cost-effective. The contact holders, specifically designed for wave soldering, are inserted into the board and soldered. The metal housings of the M12 connector are then screwed onto the customer's application housing. Finally, the 1.6 mm thick printed circuit board is mounted. The contact supports of the pre-soldered board are pushed through the inner face of the devices via the pre-assembled M12 plug-in connector housing.

In the case of custom customer housings, the M12 thread can often be integrated into the housing profile. For these applications, contact holders without an M12 thread are available. This allows the M12 connection technology to be cost-effectively integrated into, for example, die-cast housings.
The standard O-ring on the contact holder provides an additional airtight seal between the contact holder and the M12 thread. This prevents the sensitive electronics inside the device from being damaged by moisture when it is not connected. The new family of pluggable connectors complies with IEC 61076-2-101 and meets the requirements of protection class IP67.
Multi-pole connector for printed circuit boards.
The trend of transmitting increasingly larger signals in a smaller space has led to the design of small, multi-pole plug-in connectors that meet the high reliability requirements of industry. The Phoenix Contact series of multi-pole plug-in connectors originated as a response to these requirements of industrial electronics.
The 6-pole M8 components are available in various models, from ready-to-connect heat-sealed sensor cables to the corresponding plug-in cable glands with wires (Figure 5). For device-side connection, the M8 connector is also available as a printed circuit board variant. This circular connector, specially designed for wave soldering, enables the reliable transmission of data to the printed circuit board.
The current M8 range includes male and female connectors in 3, 4, and 6 poles, which meet the high protection rating of IP 67 when plugged in.
Quickon H-splitter with IDC quick-connect.
The Quickon Power distribution system from Phoenix Contact is an IP68-rated installation technology for industrial environments. Thanks to its quick and easy assembly (no cable stripping, no ferrules, no special tools), connection time is reduced by up to 80%. The IDC quick-connect technology is designed for 690 V and 20 A and accepts conductors from 1.0 to 2.5 mm². The option to combine fixed and plug-in Quickon connections with fast and reliable on-site installation offers extensive possibilities for streamlining wiring.
The Quickon H-splitter with manual contact protection is a revolutionary new compact, robust, and quick-connect terminal box concept (Figure 6). The four Quickon connectors are internally interconnected. The housing is made of solid, fiberglass-reinforced polyamide. The H distributor can be used with a main line passing through it, with one or two branches, or as a star distributor with one input and three outputs.
IP68-Codable H-Shaped Power Distribution Connectors
: New red coding profiles are now available for Quickon Power Distribution plug-in connectors, which can be inserted in four different positions (Figure 7). This QPD product range is available in black and gray and differs in the pole designations. In the black connection components, the poles are designated 1, 2, 3, and PE, while in the gray models, PE is pole 4 (1, 2, 3, and 4). Thanks to the color differentiation and the insertable coding, Quickon Power Distribution can be used in circuits of an installation with different voltages.
Quickon Power Distribution is a connection technology for industrial environments with an IP68 protection rating and IK 07 impact resistance. By eliminating conductor preparation, installation time can be reduced by up to 80%. The IDC quick-connect technology is designed for 690 V and 20 A and accepts conductors with cross-sections from 1.0 to 2.5 mm². The option to combine Quickon fixed and plug-in connections with fast and reliable on-site installation offers possibilities for streamlining cabling.
Convenient cable glands that reduce installation time.
Quickon cable glands from Phoenix Contact's Quickon Power Distribution product family are M25 cable fittings that allow connection from the outside. Their main advantage is that they eliminate the need to open devices (such as drives, lights, fans, pumps, or radiator heaters) to connect the cable. With these cable glands, the load is connected simply by tightening the Quickon nut or, even more easily, with the green Quickon plug (Figure 8).
