They feature a double-row contact configuration with a 2mm pitch for connecting their male board-mount connectors to the corresponding crimp connectors and are suitable for various wire sizes (from 22AWG to 28AWG). Each tinned copper alloy male contact has a current rating of 3.3A (3.0A when all contacts are simultaneously energized) and a maximum contact resistance of 25mΩ. When joined, each one-piece female contact has three surfaces that make contact with the corresponding male pin. This ensures a reliable interconnection, even in the most demanding applications and under extremely harsh operating conditions.

A quick-locking system has been developed to increase the connector's clamping force and thus help resist vibrations. The female connector incorporates rubber grips, and the locking tabs are supplied loose. These tabs are pushed to the back of the female connector when it is attached, expanding the rubber grips to increase the hold on the male connector.

The male and female connector elements have no covered contacts, preventing damage, while the polarized housings offer protection against poor connections. The female crimp contacts are supplied on reels (for high-volume automated production) or loose (for prototypes), and a crimping tool is also available for small-batch production runs. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C, and the service life is 50 connection cycles. These components are suitable for applications in industrial automation and process machinery, industrial drives, robotics, test and monitoring instrumentation, portable test equipment, and industrial automation controls.
