Initially developed for use in military networks, this product is particularly well-suited for applications where the media converter needs to supply power at a distance greater than 100 meters from the main network. In this respect, the high data rates enable the effective deployment of CCTV or IP surveillance cameras and VoIP phones that require ample bandwidth.
Furthermore, the AT-PC2002/PoE provides up to 15.4 W of power (full PoE power), supports high-performance, high-speed media conversion for SFP devices at 100 and 1000 Mbps via
its copper port. It can be wall-mounted, desktop-mounted, or DIN rail-mounted.
