One of the first applications of this technology is in the new NearFi couplers, which replace connectors or slip rings that are prone to wear in industrial applications. This is especially useful where these components reach their limits due to dirt, vibration, or frequent contact.

Thanks to their various universal mounting options, the couplers can be easily and flexibly installed. They can be positioned close to each other from different directions or rotated, and do not need to be perfectly aligned. Continuous visual signaling via a ring of powerful LEDs indicates that the coupler sections are ready at any angle. The robust IP65-rated housing with M12 connections for Ethernet and power allows NearFi couplers to be used even in demanding environments.
