The module has four digital inputs and four configurable input/output signals, which can be used for direct integration of trip detection signals or other actuators up to 2A. The TBEN-LL-4RMC encapsulates the CAN communication protocol and enables simple and straightforward communication, parameterization, and control of the roller motor. Support for other types of roller motors with a CAN interface is planned for future versions of the device.

Autonomous applications through ARGEE
Field Logic Controller (FLC) technology opens the door to creating modular applications in a decentralized automation system. It allows for the management of motor roller control via ARGEE and reduces the communication cycle time of any installation, as well as decreasing the volume of data on the central controller's Ethernet network.

The TBEN module downloads the required resources from the network and the central controller via ARGEE
In parallel with the roller motor control, digital signals can be used and processed directly within the module using Turck's integrated FLC-ARGEE logic. This reduces the load on the network and the central controller. The device can be connected to controllers using Profinet, Ethernet/IP, or Modbus TCP via the multi-protocol Ethernet interface without user intervention.

Compatible with demanding logistics and production applications
The robust design of the TBEN multiprotocol module, with IP67/IP69K protection, is tested against vibration and shock. Equipped with a reinforced fiberglass housing and a fully encapsulated electronic module, it is ideal for use in demanding logistics and production applications at temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +70 °C. Power is supplied via L-coded M12 connectors.
