The two new models can be used at temperatures between -40 and 70 °C and offer a supply voltage range of 12 to 30 V AC/DC. The devices can be easily configured via web-based management.
The basic model for connecting serial ports to an Ethernet network using virtual COM ports is very competitively priced and allows existing serial devices to be made network-enabled. The universal model also functions as a Modbus gateway, so serial Modbus RTU/ASCII systems can be easily converted to Modbus TCP and vice versa. This allows existing serial Modbus devices to be conveniently connected to modern Modbus TCP equipment.
