The new models feature a flexible side entry that allows for stacking multiple boxes and an oval entry that facilitates cable splicing.
The RGFO boxes have compartments separated by a distribution panel for up to 48 optical fibers and allow for cable installation via fusion splicing or direct termination, thanks to the inclusion of two fusion splicing cassettes and one splitter cassette (1x8 or 1x16).
These multi-operator models, measuring 155 x 330 x 105 mm, also include 16 SC/APC Zr. adapters, splice protectors, wall mounting hardware (four screws and four wall plugs), six cable ties, labels, twist ties, and electrical tape.
The boxes, with a keyed hinged lid, are made of cream-colored ABS plastic (RAL 9001).
